The Department of Psychiatry is recruiting Research Assistant(s) / Junior Research Assistant(s) to assist in a prospective population survey for adults with anxiety and depressive symptoms in Hong Kong.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or medical-related sciences, preferably with relevant experience in psychological or psychiatric research; (ii) the ability to communicate in Cantonese fluently; (iii) good computer knowledge in MS Office applications, Chinese word-processing and statistical software such as SPSS; (iv) a reliable work attitude and good team work spirit; (v) enthusiasm in research; and (vi) interests in and ability to carry out community based home visits at irregular working hours.
Duties include (a) arranging and conducting interviews and assessment; and (b) performing data entry and analysis.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
