Research Centre for Translation under the Faculty of Arts is now seeking candidates for a full-time position of Postdoctoral Fellow in the area of Chinese translation history.
Applicants should have (a) a PhD degree in the area of Chinese translation history and/or in a related field (those who will obtain a PhD degree in the current academic year may also apply); (b) a strong record in research with a developing publication profile; and (c) demonstrated capacity for multidisciplinary and collaborative research.
Duties include (a) publishing articles in venues of international standing; (b) assisting with the Centre director’s research projects on Chinese translation history; (c) providing assistance in organising conferences, seminars and other academic activities; and (d) contributing to developing networks within the discipline to support collaboration.
