Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Risk Management, Economics or relevant subjects; (ii) experience in data analysis and/or data management with basic research skills; (iii) knowledge in Python (and possibly some C++); (iv) an independent and reliable work attitude; and (v) good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience or interest in credit/operational risk management will be an advantage.
The appointee will assist in research and administrative work for the Risk Management Science Programme. Duties include (a) developing Python/AI-related modules for quantitative finance; (b) providing administrative support for the team; and (c) performing other tasks as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement and funding availability.
