Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Public Health, or a health-related discipline (for Postdoctoral Fellow); Or a Master’s degree in the abovementioned disciplines plus a minimum of four years of post-qualification research experience (for Research Associate); (ii) proven experience in research grant proposal writing, manuscript preparation (e.g., systematic reviews, RCTs) and research project coordination; (iii) a robust publication record utilising quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies; and (iv) fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese). Proficiency in statistical analysis (e.g., SPSS) and/or programming languages (e.g., R, Python, Matlab, Java) is a plus.
The appointee will be tasked with initiating and developing research projects that align with our thematic focus on ageing, behavioural, and mental health. Duties include (a) conducting research; (b) assisting in data analysis; (c) contributing to the ethics applications; and (d) preparing research grant proposals, project reports and academic publications. He/She is also expected to propose and develop his/her own research programmes that complement the group’s interests.
