The Department of Surgery is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic researcher for a Postdoctoral Fellow position at a laboratory located in the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. The laboratory uses organoids to understand gastrointestinal carcinogenesis and as a platform to develop biomarkers and therapeutics.
Applicants should have (i) a Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline; (ii) strong background and training in cancer biology science and experimental techniques; and (iii) excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
