The interdisciplinary research team, that focuses on smart materials and smart devices, is currently looking for Postdoctoral Fellow(s) and Research Assistant(s) in the direction of Smart Window project. The team focuses on the development of new smart window which is durable and ready for upscaling.
Applicants should have (i) a Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering or other related disciplines; (ii) good track record of high-quality research/ project; and (iii) good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Experience in development of smart materials, light/heat management, and/or related industrial experience will be advantageous.
The appointee(s) will work with the research team for further R&D of the technology and technology transfer. He/She will be responsible for (a) assisting in design and development of new smart window; (b) assisting in structural optimisation and process development; (c) fabrication of the prototypes, and their performance; (d) performing tests and experiments; (e) working collaboratively with other research staff and students in the research laboratory; and (f) undertaking other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the research team.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
