The Centre for Health Systems and Policy Research, The Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care is now inviting applications for the post of Research Assistant to apply methodological work on health financing study on innovation cancer drugs in Hong Kong.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Pharmaceutical, Oncology, or Health Economics or related disciplines; (ii) the ability to work independently; (iii) organised and detail-oriented; (iv) a strong sense of responsibility; (v) good communication skills; and (vi) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Previous experience of qualitative research and knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are preferred.
The appointee will be based at the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care at the University. Duties include (a) undertaking literature reviews and policy reviews; (b) conducting in-depth interviews; (c) performing qualitative data analysis; (d) completing research project reports; (e) writing scientific publications and grant proposals; and (f) performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
