Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree (for Research Assistant) or above OR a BSc degree (for Junior Research Assistant) in Public Health, Statistics, Social Science, or related disciplines; (ii) competency in computer applications such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, R, and/or NVIVO; (iii) good organisational and communication skills; (iv) a good command of both English and Chinese; and (v) strong initiative and team spirit at work. Experience in evidence-based medicine would be advantageous.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting research projects using qualitative and quantitative methodologies; (b) conducting literature searches and screening, data extraction, and quality assessments; (c) managing and analysing data; (d) drafting and preparing reports; and (e) performing other research and administrative duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to one year commencing March 2025, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
