Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in human-robot interaction design, robot communication system development (large language model), any health-related discipline, social science discipline, or clinical psychology discipline; (ii) experience in collaborative design or user-centred design investigations with communities, such as interactive toys/games, robots and engaging entertainment products; (iii) experience in co-ordinating research projects and preparing manuscripts; (iv) a good track record in quantitative/qualitative research and publications; and (v) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in statistical software for quantitative/qualitative research is highly preferred.
Duties include (a) literature search and review; (b) managing and conducting a research project related to social robots with Hong Kong population; (c) assisting in ethics application, data collection, data analysis, writing project reports and academic publications; (d) developing an m-health app; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator or her delegate(s).
