Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's or a Master’s degree in Medical, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognised university; (ii) at least three years of proficient technical experience in conducting animal studies, particularly in microsurgical techniques; and (iii) self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience with rodents/rabbit/pig nerve or vascular surgical models, tissue sectioning, immunohistochemistry, neuro-electrophysiology, and other relevant techniques, which will be considered additional qualifications.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting research on nerve injury and repair projects; (b) coordinating laboratory activities and managing day-to-day operations; and (c) performing other duties as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
