The lung cancer research group in the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position. We are exploring lung cancer genomics, investigating its tumour microenvironment, and designing new therapeutics for lung cancer.
Applicants should have (i) a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences or Chemical Sciences with experience in molecular techniques, or a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science with bioinformatics experience; and (ii) high motivation and commitment to scientific research.
The appointee will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. He/She will be responsible for (a) conducting research, drafting manuscripts and grant applications; (b) collaborating with the team and guiding research assistants, and (c) performing any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
