Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Informatics, Health, Psychology, Social Science or a related discipline; (ii) at least two years of experience in research-related job, preferably in research administration in any tertiary institution or related organisations; (iii) excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; (iv) competent information technological skills; (v) strong co-ordination skills; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and (vii) the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to research-related matters of the promote healthy lifestyle (preventive medicine); (b) providing support to research funding / grant applications; (c) organising research-related activities; (d) liaising with academic departments and administrative units of the University and external parties; and (e) performing other duties as assigned by the Director of the School or his delegates.
