The School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is seeking part-time Lecturers or Instructors to teach courses in Bachelor of Pharmacy (Undergraduate level) and/or Master of Clinical Pharmacy (postgraduate level), in the fields of:
(a) Pharmaceutical dispensing, or
(b) Pharmacy practice and service (hospital, community and/or advanced pharmacy practice), or
(c) Clinical pharmacy and therapeutics, or other related fields.
Part-time Lecturer applicants should:
(i) have a Master’s degree or above in related field (preferably a Master of Clinical Pharmacy (MCP) degree or a MSc degree or equivalent in a relevant pharmacy discipline that underpins understanding in clinical pharmacy practice); and
(ii) be a registered pharmacist (or equivalent qualification in medical sector) in his/her country of residence;
Years of related teaching or professional experience preferable. Bachelor degree holders with intensive teaching or professional experience would also be considered.
Part-time Instructor applicants should:
(i) have a Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Applicants should also have excellent communication skills in English, a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teaching.
Qualified candidates will be invited to an interview. Appointment(s) will commence in September 2023, and/or January 2024. Actual teaching periods and schedule would be on mutual discussions with the course coordinators at School of Pharmacy.
