Established in January 2015, the CUHK Centre for Bioethics at the Faculty of Medicine is committed to education, research, and public engagement in the field of bioethics. We are looking for a suitable candidate to enhance its capacity in bioethics education and research.
Applicants for the position of Assistant Lecturer should have i) attained at least a Master’s degree in bioethics or in equivalent disciplines; ii) preferably past experience in teaching at a tertiary level; and iii) a strong interest in bioethics research. Possession of knowledge in medical ethics and law will be advantageous.
The appointee will conduct teaching and teaching administrative duties in the Faculty of Medicine, and engage in bioethics and education-related research and community outreach activities.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract commencing August 2025, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
